The Greater Edgewood Education Foundation serves students through a variety of programs that support student achievement.
Ways the Foundation supports students
40 students attended this summer's youth leadership academy and wrote goals for academic achievement and postsecondary success
400 new books were put into the hands and homes of students to help build at home libraries to support reading achievement. 12 Edgewood High School seniors were presented scholarships for college funding. The students attended such colleges as University of Maryland College Park, Salisbury State University, and Harford Community College. 300 elementary school students received homework tool kits filled with school supplies and other resources. 175 parents and students attended Parent Academy's held at each of the Edgewood area elementary schools. 130 parents and students attended the 1st Annual Finding Your Future Education Conference. Participants received information on goal setting, finding money for college, SAT strategies and college preparedness.
